Michelle Hamilton

Michelle is a 1991 graduate of Missouri University (a.k.a. Mizzou) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Design and an emphasis in Interior Design.  Like many college graduates, she chose to work in a different field than her major.  However, Michelle has found the background in interior design to be highly beneficial in her real estate endeavors, particularly with residential construction.

Michelle received her real estate salesperson's license in Missouri in 1997 where she joined the National Association of REALTORS and worked in the military (Army) community of Ft. Leonard Wood. During this time, she started a construction and residential development company which developed residential lots and continues to build about 3-4 homes per year. At the same time, she brokered the construction of many new homes for her clients with various competing builders in the same community. In 1999, Michelle earned her broker's license. To start the new milennium off right, she joined the RE/MAX family in January 2000 and earned the Executive Club award and Cooperative Spirit award in her first year of service with RE/MAX.

In September 2001, Michelle made the move to Wichita and chose to work at RE/MAX Realty Professionals to become better acquainted with the local area and real estate community prior to resuming her sales career. During that time, she dedicated herself to increasing her sales training through various motivational speakers and writers and furthered her expertise in marketing and customer service. Michelle resumed her real estate sales career on November 1, 2003.  In 2004, Michelle earned the E-Pro designation through National Association of REALTORS to signify her expertise in internet marketing and ABR designation (Accredited Buyers Representative) through Real Estate Buyers Agency Council.  In 2006, Michelle was awarded the GRI (Graduate of Realtor Institute) and the coveted CRS designation by the Council of Residential Specialists.  Less than 4% of all Realtors hold the CRS designation.

Michelle has always considered marketing to be her specialty and prides herself on providing thorough and accurate data for all of her listings while utilizing creative advertising methods to promote her listing inventory.  "I believe that good service begins with prompt and objective communication with you, my customer, and make it a mission to seek to understand and meet your personal real estate needs."
