There's a new sheriff in town! You've probably heard of the MLS, but are you familiar with IDX? Internet Data Exchange is a newer tool for Realtors wherein a company can choose to allow their listing inventory to also be advertised on the websites of other local real estate companies. This benefits sellers, buyers and Realtors by allowing buyers working with those companies to discover your property on substantially more Wichita real estate websites. Unfortunately, many of the small discount real estate companies are not currently participating in IDX and their sellers are missing out on this valuable marketing opportunity. So before you list, inquire about a company's IDX participation... or better yet, just call me for the most comprehensive seller services in the local area.
The tax credit for U.S. homebuyers has been extended, and a new group of buyers has been made eligible.The credit of up to $8,000 for first-time buyers, originally due to expire Nov. 30, has been extended into 2010.
